In March of 2016 my Grandmother Kathleen Quinn past away.  It was clear that we were going to Florida for the funeral.  We had a very nice service and then we got a chance to be with my family for a few days.  Since I had been there before with my cousin Lisa but my wife hadn’t yet, we thought it would be great to kind of re create the trip we had.  That meant we went to old town and a couple amusement parks.  It was amazing!  Sometime we forget how great it is just being around family we haven’t seen in what feels like eons.  We also had a friend and cousin on my wife’s side a few hours away so we decided the last day that we should meet up with them as well.  I mean how often does one go to Florida?  It worked out pretty well since my wife had never seen the beach and he lives fairly close to Cocoa Beach.  She got a chance to see the ocean, We had a great meal with friends and family, and we bought home more sand than was on the beach.  It was a long, exhausting, and sometimes sad week but it was great to have some experiences or little adventures while we were there.  Rest in peace Grandma.
